Michelle Levitz is Senior Vice President, Regulatory Division at HMH Consulting. She specializes in the drafting and filing of insurance forms with state insurance departments, the drafting and submission of separate account filings and the preparation of filings with the SEC.
Michelle has over thirteen years of insurance regulatory experience for both private placement and registered products. Previously, Michelle provided consulting services to large insurance companies who sought to outsource the preparation of product filings, including contract forms and separate account filings. Before entering the consulting field, Michelle was responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory filings for PruBenefit Funding, a Prudential Financial business specializing in the design, sale and administration of large-case corporate-owned and bank-owned insurance products.
Michelle and her team have a long and consistent record of success in obtaining approvals of even the most challenging product provisions and features. She is expert at finding the terms that simultaneously satisfy the needs of carrier, customer and regulator. In numerous jurisdictions, Michelle's team has been instrumental in directing the adoption of new legislation to meet the changing dynamics of the insurance market.
Michelle received her JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She received a BA from Douglass College.
